MISSION
SICO Società Italiana Carburo Ossigeno SpA a Socio Unico has the task, through its SICO VITA division, of enhancing and expanding products and services intended for the healthcare market, seizing and anticipating every opportunity. It therefore acts as an interface for the healthcare service, developing innovative solutions with a view to improving the quality of life of users. In the hospital sector, SICO VITA’s objective and mission is to become a partner for its customers, to carry out the integrated management of all services related to the use of medical and technical gases within healthcare facilities.
“Bringing care to the patient’s home” is the goal that SICO VITA has set as its Mission in the field of home care. The desire to be able to offer a better quality of life, allowing the person in difficulty to live at home instead of in hospital, is the basis of the motivations of the SICO VITA staff. To achieve these goals, the SICO VITA tradition confirms a continuous evolution of its services in the healthcare and home care field and an increasingly effective specialist support for both the doctor and the patient.
The organization of SICO makes it possible to enhance the resources of personnel and techniques, expressing them at their highest level. ORGANIZATION
The Healthcare division includes two sub-divisions: the Hospital Services division, dedicated to the supply of products and services in public and private hospital facilities, and a Home Care Division, dedicated to the supply of products and services at the Patient’s home.
The Home Care organization includes a single management structure, with territorial centers in direct contact with patients, hospitals, local health authorities and other purchasing bodies and pharmacies, which work in a network, constantly connected with the management center.

HOME CARE
SICO VITA follows approximately 3,000 patients in Italy daily in Home Care activities.
Born to provide long-term home oxygen therapy services, the SICO medical division is now able to meet all the needs of healthcare facilities thanks to personnel and equipment that allow a level of treatment equivalent to that of a hospital, even in cases of complex therapies such as non-invasive mechanical ventilation.
SICO VITA is able to supply, install at home and maintain equipment dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.
SICO VITA is also able to provide Health Facilities with telemetry systems capable of remotely monitoring and managing medical, clinical and response to therapy parameters and the operating indicators of all equipment used at the homes of patients undergoing treatment.
